Hand-made daily
Dough, sauces and spice blends from scratch — every single day, no exceptions.
Small kitchen · big mountains
minilhasa started as a family dream: to bring the food of the high Himalayas to the neighbourhood table.
How it began
Lhasa — the city on the roof of the world. Our kitchen is small on purpose: a small menu, a small room, and enormous flavour.
Every momo is pleated by hand, every broth simmers overnight, every sauce is ground from whole spices. No shortcuts, no freezers, no fuss — just food made with mountain patience.
The minilhasa way
"Food is the warmest way to say welcome."— the minilhasa family
What we stand for
Dough, sauces and spice blends from scratch — every single day, no exceptions.
Himalayan red rice, yak-style cheese and barley from the plateau, where we can get them.
Family-run, neighbours first. If you eat here once, you're a regular.
Come sit with us
The room is small — twenty-six seats, one long shared table down the middle, and walls that have heard a thousand toasts.
Come for the momos. Stay for the butter tea and the conversation. Leave a regular.
